Tiptree is the name of the estate in Essex, England and has been the home of the Wilkin family for nearly three hundred years.
The very first Tiptree conserves were made in 1885 and Wilkin & Sons still specializes in fruit growing on their Tiptree estates.
Tiptree Lemon Curd is made from fresh egg yolks (each egg individually broken with the yolk separated from the white), dairy butter and lemons from Sicily (the best and most flavorful lemons found in the world).
This delicious product can be used in pastry shells, as a pie filling or as a spread.
