While originally Scottish, Ireland was most likely introduced to scones by Scottish immigrants in the Middle Ages. Since then, Ireland has developed its own traditional scone flavor, and none reproduce it as well as Hogan's Irish Scone Mix.
Hot, buttered scones are synonymous with afternoon tea or serve these scones with butter, jam or lemon curd for breakfast.
Just add water and bake.
