The original Scottish biscuit maker was McVitie & Price, Ltd. established in 1830 in Edinburgh, Scotland. The Hobnobs brand was launched in 1985 and, subsequently, McVitie's created a milk chocolate variant followed by dark (plain) chocolate and Hobnob Creams.
Hobnobs are an excellent source of fibre and, recently, Hobnobs have measurably reduced their sodium and saturated fat contents.
Ingredients: Rolled Oats (30%), Milk Chocolate (24%) (Sugar, Cocoa Butter, Cocoa Mass, Dried Skimmed Milk, Dried Whey, Butter Oil, Vegetable Fat, Emulsifiers (Soya Lecithin, E476), Natural Vanilla Flavouring), Wholemeal, Sugar, Vegetable Oil, Glucose-Fructose Syrup, Raising Agents (Sodium Bicarbonate, Ammonium Bicarbonate), Salt.
