Hogan's White Irish Soda Bread Mix (1 lb box)

Bicarbonate of soda was introduced to Ireland in the late 1830's, so, instead of using yeast as a leavening agent, they began using bread soda.

Known as "quick bread," Hogan's Soda Bread only requires adding water, shaping, and baking.

Great for breakfast with butter, jam or honey. A nice accompaniment to soup or to mop up your gravy at dinner.
