Keep Calm and Carry On was a propaganda poster produced by the British government in 1939 at the beginning of World War II. It was meant to raise the spirits of  British citizens in case Great Britain was ever invaded by the Nazis.

Although the poster never ended up being distributed during the war, it was rediscovered in 2000. Since then, it has been re-issued by several companies and used as an increasingly popular theme for a wide range of products.
